04/08: BEAR Market?
Has a bear market started? The tradional definition of a bear is a decline of 20% or more.
I do not know the answer.
The market action (featuring heavy downside volume) does remind me of August 1982 in reverse. Then, the market exploded to the upside with extraordinary upside volume. No one quite beleived it after years of weak markets. Many investors sold into that market believing it was only a blip. Today.....
